School counselors provide college guidance to assist students with acquiring the information and skills necessary to plan for postsecondary opportunities. School counselors provide college guidance in the areas of:
- college selection
- college admission testing
- college admission requirements
- college application process
- financial aid and scholarships
College guidance activities take place in the form of individual meetings with students, classroom guidance, and parent programs. Resources available on the ROSWELLGUIDANCE Blog, in the College Career Center, and via publications (College Planning Guide and newsletters) support the guidance provided by school counselors.
